3 oz tenderloin
3 cups of white rice
3 cups of broccoli
some butter for the rice and the broccoli
1220 calories.
First: who the hell knew that rice had so many damn calories? Second: who the hell knew that butter had so many damn calories? OK, well, 3 cups is a mountain of rice and 3 cups is a mountain of broccoli, but the broccoli doesn’t amount to much.
It’s all OK; I’m still short of my daily caloric allotment by about 400 calories. My trainer has estimated that my maintenance intake should be about 2600 per day and he’s got me aiming for 2200 per day. Even with that meal, I’m only a little over 1800 for the day. So I’m trying to figure out what’s for dessert.
And the apartment smells like steak. Oh, yeahhhhh.

I usually make vegetable stiryfry with crushed ginger, and pour it over white rice with a little bit of soy sauce 🙂
