It’s all water weight, probably. After doing weight watchers for a long time, you learn to mistrust the scale. Weigh in again in a day or two and see what happens.

Oh yeah, no kidding. I was so sick Saturday evening from dehydration it felt like a hangover. It was definitely all water. I didn’t take that 186 very seriously.

Yeah, in the other direction — I put on 4 or so temporary pounds as I ate a ton of food on Saturday and Sunday because I’d played disc golf for 8+ hours each day. In a couple of days when the food passes and the calories have been burned I think I’ll probably have lost 1/2 pound or a pound.

I wore my heart monitor for 4.5 hours on Saturday morning and it calculated that I burned 4500 calories in that time. Wow. I had no idea my heart rate was so elevated when I play. I don’t think I do actually burn that many calories, but it does explain why playing long-ass sessions makes me so hungry.
