OK let’s recap

If he can’t face John Ker­ry with­out break­ing down in gib­ber­ing ter­ror, what the hell makes you think he can stand up to Usama bin Laden?

I mean, sure, Ker­ry had some key advan­tages, like not sleep­ing through his debate class­es because he was too hung over. And hav­ing an IQ high­er than 80. So I guess it was­n’t a fair fight.

I don’t pre­tend it will help Ker­ry win, though. I seem to be out of touch with Amer­i­can val­ues. I was brought up to val­ue lib­er­ty and democ­ra­cy. I was brought up to believe that the Con­sti­tu­tion stands for some­thing, and I was remind­ed repeat­ed­ly as a child of the sac­ri­fices that have been made so that we might have our Con­sti­tu­tion today. I was brought up to believe that right and wrong are not sit­u­a­tion­al. OK peo­ple? Right and wrong did not change on Sep­tem­ber 11th.

If I had joined the mil­i­tary in Octo­ber of 2001 (I was a sin­gle sig­na­ture away), would you real­ly trust that idiot Bush with my life?

Is this the sort of com­po­sure we expect from our leaders?

    Uh oh. Hey, I was just kid­ding. I think Bush sucks, I think the war is crim­i­nal and that his entire admin­is­tra­tion is evil and needs to be removed. 

    BTW, I did­n’t have to sign up. I’m from the Viet­nam era when they signed me up — read “draft­ed” me and sent me over… So, I do know what that is like, based on first hand experience.

    LOL After I post­ed my response, I “got it”. I though, “Uh, I am not think­ing on all eight cylin­ders today…” 

    So, after a delayed reac­tion, I, Bush-like, was final­ly able to see the light. BTW, I’m going to use Bush’s pho­to as my icon.
