How’s this for weird?
I got a refund check in the mail from the Treasury. Apparently I overpaid my back taxes. And somehow miscalculated by twenty dollars. It’s just bizarre.

Don’t spend it! They’ll
Don’t spend it! They’ll re-asses it again in about 6 months, and tell you that you owe them $50 plus interest! Keep it in a safe place!
(at least, thats what they do here in Canada LOL)

that is an old trick for getting a fast response on your taxes: if you have money coming back just make a $10 addition mistake on your 1040 and you will get your refund before the people who added properly.
