On needing sleep
I went to bed at 9:45 last night, intending to get enough sleep to get up early to run this morning. I’ve gotten pretty reasonable at waking up, something I never was when I was younger. To bed before 10:00pm is really what I need to do; in fact, if I’m going to get up at 5am I should really be to sleep by 9pm, right?
Well, I slept right through to 7:30am, which is about the time that I should be getting out the door and onto the bus. Don’t know why I needed that sleep, but once again I didn’t get to run this morning. That’s kind of frustrating.
I’m going to try getting to bed earlier, but I’m probably not going to get home until almost 10pm tonight, and that’s without stopping for dinner. I want more time. MORE TIME.
