Another day gone by
Well, about the only thing productive I did today was working out. I went with Jeff and so I got to do benchpresses, which I don’t do if I go alone. Some things just shouldn’t be done without a spotter.
I was amazed at the number of beautiful women at the gym this afternoon, too. And I don’t mean the cookie-cutter California bitch kind of toned, tanned, blonde and bony that we see around here so much, I mean really beautiful. Drop-dead gorgeous with personality. Stunning. Just stunning.
I watched Star Trek: Enterprise this evening. I avoid television almost totally, but I can’t give up Star Trek. Don’t much want to either. A guy’s gotta have some vices, right? But I really do feel it’s a vice because it’s on at the same time as my meditation group. I feel bad about not going to meditation so I can watch TV. Unfortunately I don’t trust the recorder. Maybe I should practice it with some show I don’t care about.
The young lady in Kansas City seems to have gone cold on me just as rapidly as she got hot on me. Meeting people online is so weird, and THAT is so weird to me because many of my best friends are people that I first met online. Sure, those were dial-up BBSes, not people I met on some website, but it’s still ironic that I’m so weirded out about meeting people online when I’m what you might call an early adopter.
Last thought for the moment: I’d REALLY like to have a LiveJournal client for my Newton. That would ROCK.
