Ow. ow ow ow.

OK, I should have eaten more before going to the gym.

OK, I should have taken it easier during the cardio phase.

OK, I should not have jumped right in to work the same muscle groups I worked last time I was at the gym.

I’m so toast. I hurt. And I’m totally exhausted. I feel like I caught the flu sometime in the last two hours. I’m trying to nurse myself back to health with salad, an apple, and protein bars. Then sleep, I guess.

Yeah, sleep. I need to get to sleep so I can go to church in the morning. I really REALLY hope it doesn’t rain.

Did I mention that I went to my local library branch? It’s pretty small but I found a lot of stuff I was interested in. They have movies there too. All free! Yay! I checked out a book about banned books, which should be interesting, and Digital Copyright by Jessica Litman, and a tome that claims to be an authoritative history of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, which is an area of history and current events which I’m uncomfortably ignorant. I got through about 20 pages on the bus this afternoon and it broke down some myths for me, so one hopes that if I’m not careful, I might learn something before I’m through.

I am so tired. I guess this was sort of the point, but darn. I need to be a little smarter about my working out. I don’t even want to get up and go to the kitchen to refill my salad bowl. And I know I haven’t gotten enough calories yet. All right, I’ll get to it and then hit the sack.

Ow.
