Anyone wanna live with me?

My housemate is throwing a temper tantrum and threatening not to move in. Swell. This is at the very eleventh hour, and puts Arpine and I in a pretty awkward position. He doesn’t like that Arpine didn’t tell him to just take over the entire apartment with his stuff. He said to her, “I’ve already had a mother, and I’m in therapy about that. I don’t need another one.”

Yeah, the rest of us have had drama queens before. get over yourself, d00d.

Apparently he freaked out because he didn’t want to live in a house with someone who doesn’t drink. Or he’s not comfortable because he thinks I’ll be uncomfortable with there being drinking in the house. Maybe I’m overthinking this, but doesn’t that sound a little like someone who wants other people who drinks like he does around?

Actually, from his behavior I’d guess that his drug of choice goes up his nose. But now I’m totally speculating.

So it’s a beautiful place and we’re looking for people that are trustworthy and not totally high-maintenance.

I’d like to have my room with the deck and the bathroom, but this guy backing out on the day he was going to move in just spells trouble.

If this person should change his mind, whatever you do, DO NOT let him move in. No matter what he says, don’t do it.
