Ran another 5.25 miles this morning.
That makes my average for the year so far 0.47 miles per day. Not that that really means anything. But I don’t run enough and should be doing other things on top of running. So I figure I’m getting about one-fourth the workout regimen I should if I want to see the beginnings of changes. That’s discouraging.

Heh heh heh… ugh.
Five miles today. I targeted a heart rate of 150, was closer to 155 through most of the run. I finished in 59:49, just barely faster than 12 minutes to the mile.
I can’t say I like going that slowly. It feels just as difficult as 9 minute miles but without the extra fun. I guess the point of this is that eventually I should be able to do 9 minute miles at 150 bpm and then … Read the rest
I won’t say I actually swam in the Bay; I spent 15 minutes standing in the Bay up to my waist before I plunged the rest of myself in. Then I spent about five minutes splashing around a little. I didn’t make it out to the buoy that marks the beginning of the swim.
