On my way to go buy a new helmet this morning, Murphy’s law set in. Maybe I was being overcautious because of the combination of the rain and an untrusted spare helmet, or maybe it was unavoidable, but as I pulled up to a stoplight, the bike went out from under me and hit the pavement on its right side.

This weekend it’s my turn to do the household cleaning. I think I essentially chased out the rest of the housemates with the vacuum cleaner, but it’s probably their gain since it’s beautiful and sunny outside.
