My back has been killing me this past week­end and con­tin­ues to hurt today. So my man­ag­er sug­gest­ed that I go take some time on the mas­sage chair. Turns out we have a small room with one of these:

For the last sev­er­al months I’ve been strug­gling with The Miss­ing Sync soft­ware which han­dles syn­chro­niza­tion between my Palm and my Mac. It’s been very bro­ken and so I’ve had all the con­duits dis­abled. For MONTHS, that is. I’ve been putting up with things not work­ing right because, basi­cal­ly, that’s how com­put­ers are. They don’t work right unless you hap­pen to be both high­ly skilled and have the time to trou­bleshoot them and bend them to your will.

My run­ning this year has been very spo­radic. I’ve only logged about 75 miles for the whole year so far. I blame part of it on my new motor­cy­cles (No won­der all those Harley guys are so fat) and part of it on all the tran­si­tions I’ve been through this year but the bot­tom line is, if I’m not run­ning I’m deny­ing myself some­thing I real­ly love.

I took the Red Wings in to get resoled on Sun­day, and they say it’ll take over a week before I get them back. That means I’m going to have to wear some oth­er kind of boots for my ride up to Tahoe and Yosemite this com­ing weekend.
